Swell SculptureIf you love the beach and you love art, you must visit the largest outdoor art exhibition on the Gold Coast and how you can get there easily with our Airport Transfers!

Experience a wondrous display of over 50 sculptures built by local, national and international artists at the 11th annual Swell Sculpture Festival along Currumbin Beach 13 – 22 September, 2013. The free exhibition is open all hours with a selection of sculptures revealing a new verve as they are lit up under the southern sky.

Over 10 days, visitors can experience the sculptures, enjoy twilight walks, informative artist talks, discover new perspectives at the ‘The Couch’, wander through the Swell Smalls Gallery and participate in artist master classes and children’s workshops. Swell Sculpture Festival inspires, amuses, uplifts and captures the hearts and minds of all who visit.

If you are just coming for the day you are most welcome to bring a blanket and a packed picnic lunch, sit amongst the sculptures and enjoy the exhibition! The walk is 1km in length so a bottle of water is a good idea for each member of the family. There are several cafes such as Elephant Rock Cafe, The Deck Cafe, Point Restaurant and Bar @ the Rocks Resort and along the sculpture walk the Currumbin Surf Club which is at the southern end of Currumbin Beach.

With famous golden beaches and a stone’s throw away from the majestic Currumbin Valley hinterland, the southern Gold Coast region has much to offer, so we recommend that you stay a little longer and see all we have to offer.
